Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the German fighter Messerschmitt Bf 109G-6 in the late configuration in 1:72 scale from Hobby Boss, from its simplified easy-build line. The model has a small part count, one-piece main wing and fuselage sections and engraved panel lines. The box contains a clear canopy and waterslide decals for two marking variants.
The Bf 109G-6 was the most widespread variant of the successful German Gustav series, powered by the DB 605 engine. Characteristic of it were the prominent bulges over the breeches of the synchronized MG 131 machine guns on the upper fuselage. Late G-6s received, among other things, a taller wooden vertical tail and a clearer sliding cockpit canopy. The G-6 formed the backbone of the day fighter force in 1943 and 1944.
Although the build is easy and some parts can simply be clicked together, back the joints up with thin cement for plastic to be safe. Apply primer before varnishing and lay the colors on with an airbrush; the typical scheme for the Gustavs is gray mottled camouflage on the upper surfaces and light undersides. Mask the clear canopy and fit it only at the end of the build.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
