This is an aftermarket detail set, not an aircraft model. The set holds lathe-turned brass barrels for the .30 cal machine guns and a brass pitot tube in the American form. The metal parts have faithful muzzles and profiles that cannot be made from injection-molded plastic, and they visibly raise the detail of the finished model.
The accessory is intended to replace the original plastic barrels and sensor on models of the Curtiss P-40B/P-40C fighter in 1:72 scale. The parts are hollow, so the muzzles of the barrels look realistic.
