Figure Rise Kamen Rider Genm Acton G

The real subject

Kamen Rider Genm is one of the characters of the Japanese live-action series about the Kamen Riders, that is heroes in armored suits with a striking mask. The individual characters differ from one another in the shape of the mask and the color treatment of the suit, by which viewers recognize them, and it is exactly these features that the models of the range take over.

What kind of kit this is

Figure Rise is a range of plastic figure kits. The model is supplied unglued and unpainted and is assembled from the parts according to the manufacturer's instructions; those also state how many parts the package contains and which accessories belong with the figure. Compared with a finished figure, a kit has the advantage that you can take the result further by painting it to your own idea.

Building and painting tips

Separate the parts with nippers a little away from the part and sand the remainder so that no light stress mark is left on the edge. If the plastic is already in color, it is enough to accent the figure with a dark glaze in the gaps and to finish the small details with a brush. For painting the whole model, apply an undercoat first, otherwise the finish rubs off smooth plastic. Choose the thinner and the thinning ratio according to the paint manufacturer's directions on the bottle.

Who it is for

The set is for collectors of Japanese hero characters and for modelers who want to build a figure rather than buy a finished one. Count on time for assembling and cleaning the parts up; the small parts of the suit and the mask want tweezers and a steady hand. Paints, glue and other materials are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
