An injection-molded plastic kit of the French fighter Dassault Mirage 2000-5F in 1:72 scale from the production of the manufacturer Modelsvit. This release captures the machines handed over to the Ukrainian Air Force and, compared with the basic edition, it is extended by the long-range guided missile Scalp EG (Storm Shadow) with a pylon and an additional photo-etched sheet. The model is marked by finely engraved panel lines and a richly subdivided cockpit. Check the exact package contents against the enclosed instructions.
The Mirage 2000-5F is the modernized multirole version of the legendary tailless Dassault fighter with a delta wing, equipped with improved radar and avionics and able to carry medium-range air-to-air missiles. The Ukrainian Air Force began taking these machines over from French stocks and deploys them both in the air defense role and for attacks on ground targets with precision munitions.
This is a kit with fine details; cut the parts off and bond them with thin cement for plastic, and the thin photo-etched parts with super glue. Paint the cockpit and the landing gear bays before closing the airframe. Apply a primer and the paints with an airbrush, and after a gloss coat apply the decals and bring the panel lines out with a wash.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
