The model offers the machine's typical profile with its variable-geometry wing and a wide choice of naval color schemes. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
The F-14 Tomcat was a twin-engined supersonic carrier fighter of the US Navy with a variable-geometry wing and a crew of two. The F-14A version was the initial production variant, used from the 1970s as an interceptor protecting carrier groups and armed among other things with long-range missiles. It became an icon of the Cold War and of popular culture.
Glue the parts with thin cement for plastic. We recommend a primer base and spraying with an airbrush; on naval schemes fading and fine panel shading come out well. Apply gloss varnish before the decals and a matte or satin overcoat after them. Watch the fit of the fuselage and the setting of the wing sweep.
