This set is a resin accessory in 1:72 scale, not an airplane model in its own right. It replaces the original cockpit of an F-16I Sufa plastic kit with a detailed resin casting of the tub, the seats and the side panels, and adds fine photo-etched parts. Because this is the two-seat version, the set covers both the front and the rear station. It is meant for more experienced modelers.
The F-16I Sufa is the Israeli two-seat version of the F-16 derived from a later block, adapted to multirole and strike tasks with long range. The cockpit of both crew members is packed with avionics and modern displays, which makes it a rewarding place for superdetailing.
These are resin parts for advanced builders. Wash the castings to remove the mold release agent, cut off the casting blocks and clean up the surfaces with airway protection. They are bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate), and so are the photo-etched parts. It pays to paint the cockpit fully and bring it up before the fuselage is closed.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The aircraft kit, glue, paints and other accessories are not included in the package.
