This is a resin accessory, not an aircraft kit. The set contains a finely cast Bristol Pegasus radial engine and the related parts, intended to upgrade a model of the Fokker C.X biplane in 1:72 scale from Kovozavody Prostejov.
A cast engine brings a substantially finer and more faithful rendition of the cylinders, the valve gear and the cowling than the basic injection-molded plastic can offer. It suits the versions of the Fokker C.X powered by the Pegasus engine in particular.
Wash the mold release residue off the resin parts, cut the casting blocks off carefully and bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Use respiratory protection while sanding. Painting the engine and bringing it out with a wash before the cowling is closed is advisable.
This is an accessory, not a complete model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
