1:72 Fw-190 and Bf-109 - Leading Edge Wavelet No.2

Fw-190 and Bf-109, Leading Edge Wavelet No. 2, 1:72 (77propeller)

This is a flexible plastic painting mask for the airbrush, not a kit. It serves for spraying the wavelet pattern on the wing leading edges of the German fighters Focke-Wulf Fw 190 and Messerschmitt Bf 109 in 1:72 scale. Pattern No. 2 is the second version of the waving and complements pattern No. 1.

The real subject

The Fw 190 and the Bf 109 formed the backbone of the Luftwaffe fighter force in the Second World War. Their camouflage schemes differed by period and by unit, and irregular wavelets of color transition appeared on the leading edges.

Use

• You lay the mask against the leading edge and spray the edge of the camouflage area with an airbrush.
• The flexible material adapts to the curve of the wing leading edge.
• Combined with pattern No. 1 you get more varied and less repetitive waving.
• Spray in thin coats; the mask can be used again.

Who the mask is for

For modelers building the Fw 190 or the Bf 109 in 1:72 scale who want faithful and repeatable camouflage waving on the leading edges.

The set contains the mask only. Paints, an airbrush and the model are not included in the package.
