The GBU-10 Paveway II is an American laser-guided bomb based on a heavy aircraft bomb of roughly 2000 pounds, fitted with a guidance head and folding tail surfaces. The weapon has been in use since the 1970s and became a symbol of precision bombing by modern air forces.
