This resin set from Quickboost in 1:72 scale contains a finely cast pitot tube (airspeed sensor) and fuel pipe for the Junkers Ju 88 and Ju 188. This is not an aircraft model, but an aftermarket detail part that replaces the coarser plastic parts or adds them where they are missing from the kit.
The Junkers Ju 88 and its more powerful successor, the Ju 188, were key German aircraft of the Second World War. Small external features like a pitot tube and fuel pipe tend to be either too thick in plastic or break off easily. A thin resin casting offers a more accurate scale and a sharper shape.
Wash the parts in lukewarm water with dish soap before gluing to remove the mold release agent. Separate them from the casting block with a saw or a cutter, never snap them off, since they are thin. Glue with cyanoacrylate (super glue). Use respiratory protection when sanding, since resin dust is harmful to health.
