Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the German Messerschmitt Bf-109G fighter in 1:72 scale from Academy. The G series (Gustav) is the most widespread and the most important combat family of this fighter. The kit is a classic plastic model with engraved lines and waterslide decals. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
The Messerschmitt Bf 109 was one of the most important fighters of the Second World War and was built in hundreds of thousands. The G series (Gustav) received the more powerful Daimler-Benz DB 605 engine and became the backbone of the Luftwaffe fighter force in the second half of the war. It was marked by high performance, but also by the characteristic bulges on the cowling called for by the machine guns and the engine accessories. It was used on every front.
Finish and paint the cockpit before you close up the fuselage; mask the small glazing. Fill and sand the fuselage joints and the wing roots. Lay the base over a primer; the typical German camouflage with gray shades on the sides and segmented mottling comes out well once the panels are brought out with a thin wash. The frames of the cockpit canopy are easier to handle with masks. Fit the propeller and the landing gear only at the end.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
