1:72 Mirage F.1 intake covers (FOD) is a resin detail set from Quickboost with air intake covers that protect a parked machine against foreign objects getting in.

This is an aftermarket accessory, not a model in its own right. The set contains resin air intake covers, the so-called FOD (Foreign Object Damage) covers, which are fitted over the intakes of a parked aircraft to keep foreign objects out. The set is intended for models of the Dassault Mirage F.1 fighter in 1:72 scale.
The Dassault Mirage F.1 was a French supersonic fighter with side air intakes. On the ramp, conspicuous covers were fitted into the intakes to keep dirt and small objects from being drawn in. It is precisely these covers that give a parked model an authentic look.
Wash the parts to remove the mold release agent, cut off the casting blocks and clean them up. They are bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). The covers usually carry a bright color and warning tags, which can be added with a decal or painted by hand. Protect your airways when sanding resin.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
