This is an aftermarket set of six 3D-printed resin aircraft bombs in 1:72 scale. It is not an aircraft model but an accessory for arming finished models of jet aircraft. The parts are printed in high resolution, with fine relief on the casing, the lifting lugs and the stabilizing surfaces.
The MK-82 is an American low-drag general purpose bomb of the Mark 80 series weighing roughly 227 kg (500 pounds). It is among the most widespread aircraft armament of Western air forces and is still used today on a range of types. The MAU-93/B conical fin corresponds to the variant for free fall from higher altitudes.
First wash the uncured resin residue off the parts, cut them carefully from the print supports and clean up the faces. They are bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). A primer, painting with an airbrush and bringing the detail out with a wash and a dry brush are advisable.
The set contains only the resin parts of the bombs. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
