This set from Kelik holds 3D decals, wet and waterslide, in 1:72 scale with full-color detail in relief of the instrument panels and other elements of both cockpits of the reconnaissance helicopter. Layered printing gives the interior depth and replaces laborious painting at a small scale. It is not a model but a refining accessory for OH-1 Ninja models.
The target kit is the Aoshima; that is bought separately.
The Kawasaki OH-1 Ninja is a Japanese light observation and reconnaissance helicopter with a two-seat tandem cockpit. Its modern cockpit with displays and broken-up panels is an attractive but demanding target for a detailer, and one where 3D decals speed the work up markedly.
Clean and degrease the surfaces of the cockpit. Dip the parts briefly in lukewarm water, slide them off the backing and settle them exactly in place; the flexible carrier follows the shape. Use a decal softener sparingly and, once dry, fix them with a matte varnish if needed.
The package holds only the 3D interior decals. The model itself, paints and glue are not part of it.
