This is an Aires resin detail set, not an airplane model. The set raises the level of detail of a kit of the P-47D Thunderbolt fighter; as a rule it contains elements of the cockpit and further detailed parts. It replaces the simplified parts of the base kit in 1:72 scale.
The Republic P-47 Thunderbolt was an American single-engine fighter and fighter-bomber of the Second World War, powered by a radial engine. The D version was the most numerous and was committed both to escorting bombers and to attacks on ground targets. The rugged machine was among the heaviest single-engine fighters of its day.
Wash the parts to remove the mold release agent, cut off the casting blocks and sand with your airways protected. Bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate). The interior and the fine details come out once base shades, a dry brush and a wash into the recesses have gone on.
The detail set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The base kit, glue, paints and other accessories are not included in the package.
