Panzer in the Desert 3 - the PzKpfw II Ausf. A to C in North Africa is a set of water-slide decals in 1:72 scale with the markings of German light tanks from the fighting in the desert.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of water-slide decals in 1:72 scale from Star Decals. It is neither a model nor an addition for assembly, but a marking sheet intended for dressing up a finished plastic model of the PzKpfw II Ausf. A to C light tank. The decals bring tactical numbers, Balkenkreuz bar crosses, unit insignia and further lettering matching service in the North African campaign.
The PzKpfw II was a German light tank of interwar design armed with a 2cm automatic cannon. The early Ausf. A to C versions made up the backbone of the light units at the start of the war and in North Africa served with the Deutsches Afrikakorps in characteristic desert camouflage.
Varnish the area under a decal to a gloss, so that no matte silvery edge arises. Cut the piece out, dip it in lukewarm water for a few seconds and, once it has released, slide it off the backing onto the model. On textured and riveted surfaces a decal softener helps, which lets the membrane settle. Finally fix the markings with a clear varnish according to the degree of gloss you want.
This is a set of decals. The model, the paints and the varnish are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
