About product

New Ware 1:72 Sikorsky SH-3 Sea King EXPERT kabuki masks

An extended set of self-adhesive masks in Japanese washi paper for models of the Sikorsky SH-3 Sea King carrier-based helicopter and its versions (SH-3D/G/H, SH-3D+Apollo, S-61A and AEW.2) in 1:72 scale. The EXPERT version offers more comprehensive coverage than the BASIC one: besides the cockpit and window frames including the inner side, it typically also includes masks for the wheels and further elements for clean painting. The masks are precisely cut, follow the curves and leave no adhesive behind when peeled off.

Use

  • Transfer the masks onto the glazing, the wheels and the other parts following the diagram.
  • Press the edges down thoroughly against paint creeping under them.
  • Spray the color with an airbrush in coats.
  • Take the mask off carefully and reveal clean surfaces.

Who the masks are for

  • More demanding modelers who want to mask the wheels and accessories as well.
  • Builders of the Sea King who rely on an airbrush and a clean result.
  • Those who want complete masking in a single set.

This is a self-adhesive masking set, not a model and not paints. Paints and glue are not included in the package.
