Cut film parts in 1:72 scale with which you spray the ceremonial finish of the T-90A tank as it looked on Red Square. A limited edition.
Responsibility details are not available.
The T-90 came out of a deep modernization of the T-72, and the version with the letter A brought a welded turret instead of a cast one, a newer fire control system and a more powerful engine. Machines in this form opened the column of armored vehicles for years at the annual ceremonial parade on Red Square. Vehicles prepared for such an occasion get a finish you will not meet on a training ground: the fields are more regular, the edges sharper and the whole pattern is designed to look good from the stands and in a television shot alike.
This is a limited edition, that is a series produced in a limited number. The contents are self-adhesive cut parts following the individual fields of camouflage, which are laid onto a dry base coat.
In 1:72 scale the whole tank is only a few centimeters long and the individual fields of camouflage shrink to shapes a few millimeters wide. Here tape practically fails, because ordinary modeling tape is hard to cut and to lay at such a width and its own thickness starts to be noticeable against the size of the field. Thin cut film does not have this problem and holds its shape even on the smallest fields.
At the same time, a small scale forgives mistakes less. Paint applied too heavily creates a ridge at the edge which shows in the result just as much as a badly run edge does. Spray more thinned, therefore, and preferably in more thin coats. Before taking the parts off, let the last coat only flash off rather than cure completely.
