Eduard Wellington Mk. Ia/c bomb bay 1:72 is a photo-etched detail set for the bomb bay of the Vickers Wellington bomber.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is NOT a model of an airplane but a photo-etched detail set from the Eduard brand in 1:72 scale. It contains parts for a faithful rendition of the bomb bay of the Vickers Wellington bomber in the Mk. Ia and Mk. Ic versions. The fine photo-etched parts replace or supplement the plastic components and let you build the model with the bomb bay open and its internal structure visible.
The Vickers Wellington was a British twin-engine bomber of the Second World War, famous for the geodetic structure of its fuselage, which took considerable battle damage in its stride. The Mk. Ia and Mk. Ic versions were among the early production machines and formed the backbone of the RAF night bomber force in the first years of the war.
Separate the photo-etched parts from the fret carefully and shape the bends over a sharp edge or in a bending tool. Glue with super glue (cyanoacrylate) or with small drops of epoxy. Apply primer before painting; pick out the internal structure with a wash that underlines the lattice members.
It is a photo-etched accessory set, not a model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
