A three-dimensional puzzle of the New York Statue of Liberty from the Revell brand. It is not a classic plastic model: the parts of light rigid foam simply fit into one another and the build gets by without glue, scissors or paints. The finished statue will decorate a shelf, a desk or a child's room.
The Statue of Liberty, unveiled in 1886, was a gift from France to the United States and welcomed millions of immigrants sailing into the port of New York. The sculptor was Frédéric Auguste Bartholdi, and Gustave Eiffel took part in the design of the internal supporting structure. The figure with a torch in a raised hand became one of the best known symbols of liberty and of New York itself.
Follow the enclosed instructions and press the parts out of the backing sheets carefully, so that they do not bend. Work on a flat surface and press the individual joints home gently; the foam parts hold together on their own. The build calls for no tools, and children and adults alike can manage it.
The puzzle is supplied unassembled. It goes together without glue, scissors or paints; it is not a classic plastic model.
