This is a resin (3D-printed) replacement set of wheels, not a kit. The wheels replace the plastic parts of a model of the heavy wheeled carrier of the THAAD launcher and bring a more faithful tread pattern and sharper hub detail.
THAAD (Terminal High Altitude Area Defense) is an American missile defense system meant to destroy ballistic missiles in the terminal phase of flight. The launch containers are carried on a heavy off-road wheeled chassis whose massive wheels make up a prominent part of the silhouette, so rendering them faithfully noticeably lifts the impression a finished model makes.
Wash any mold release agent off the parts, separate the wheels from the casting blocks and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). The tread pattern comes out after painting with a wash and dust pigments; do the sanding with respiratory protection.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
