About product

Eduard 1:72 UH-34D (photo-etched parts)

This set from the Czech manufacturer Eduard contains fine photo-etched parts intended to upgrade a plastic model of the Sikorsky UH-34D helicopter. It is not a helicopter kit but an accessory that replaces coarser plastic elements with thin metal details and gives the model a fineness correct for the scale.

What the set solves

  • It adds cockpit details, seats, fittings and instrument elements that plastic cannot capture faithfully.
  • It completes exterior surfaces, grilles and small panels according to the extent of the fret.
  • Intended for models of the Sikorsky UH-34D helicopter in 1:72 scale.
  • The parts are separated with a sharp knife, shaped with tweezers and glued with super glue.

Who the set is for

  • Modelers who want to lift the interior and exterior of their helicopter.
  • Anyone interested in American military helicopters.
  • More experienced builders used to working with fine photo-etched parts.

The accessory does not include the model or glue. Some of the parts may need painting to match the real aircraft.

FAQ

No. It is a set of photo-etched parts, an aftermarket accessory for upgrading an existing plastic UH-34D model.

Plastic models of the Sikorsky UH-34D helicopter in 1:72 scale.

Some of the interior parts are worth painting to match the real aircraft; it is bare brass etching, unless stated otherwise.

Super glue (cyanoacrylate) works best; ordinary cement for plastic does not hold on metal.
