An injection-molded plastic kit of the classic roadster Lotus Super 7 Series II in 1:24 scale from the Japanese brand Tamiya. The model lets you build the car either as a road roadster or as a club racing special with the additional parts. Besides the plastic the set contains further materials such as photo-etched and turned metal parts. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
The Lotus Seven is an iconic lightweight sports roadster with a minimalist tubular structure that became a symbol of pure driving pleasure and lives on to this day in the shape of Caterham cars. The improved Super 7 version was given the more powerful Ford Cosworth four-cylinder and offered lively performance thanks to its low weight.
Bring out the exposed Ford Cosworth engine with metallic shades and a subtle patina. Paint the body with gloss colors and glue the chrome and photo-etched parts with cyanoacrylate glue. Fill in the interior and the instrument panel in detail, and mask the glazing and the lights while painting.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
