A detailed plastic kit of the European Renault AE500 Magnum long-haul tractor unit in 1:24 scale from the Italian brand Italeri. The model in this attractive large scale offers rubber tires, chrome-plated parts and decals for two versions of the truck. The large scale lets the intricate cab and the chassis stand out and suits collectors of trucks.
The Renault Magnum was a European long-haul tractor unit introduced in 1990. It became known for its flat, roomy cab with angular lines, designed for maximum driver comfort on long-distance haulage, and as early as 1991 it won the International Truck of the Year title. It was built in various technical versions right up to 2013 and was one of the striking sights of European roads.
Finish the cab in a gloss clear coat, which captures company colors on a tractor unit best. Mask the chrome-plated parts and trim strips and take care over clean gaps between the large body parts during assembly. Weather the frame, the tanks and the chassis with a fine wash and settle the enclosed decals onto a gloss base.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
