This injection-molded plastic kit from AFV Club represents the German 2 cm Flakvierling 38 anti-aircraft mounting in 1:35 scale. The set consists of plastic parts supplemented with photo-etched and turned metal details, which make it possible to build the four-barrel mount, the gunners seats, the sights and the folding platforms faithfully. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
The Flakvierling 38 brought four 20 mm automatic cannons together on a single mount and delivered dense fire against low-flying targets. The German army deployed it on its own on a trailer, on the beds of trucks and on the chassis of armored vehicles throughout the Second World War.
Glue the fine parts of the mount with thin cement for plastic and work on the photo-etched parts with cyanoacrylate glue. After the base coat, choose the shade according to the period you have picked, bring out the barrels and breeches with metallic shades and tie the whole thing together with a wash and dry-brushing.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
