Responsibility details are not available.
The Freedom Fighter was a light supersonic fighter that bet on simplicity and low cost instead of complex electronics. It was powered by two turbojet engines, the airframe was slim and small and the maintenance undemanding, so the type found its way into the inventory of many countries. The designation CF-5D belongs to the Canadian two-seat form: the second seat behind the pilot was used mainly for converting pilots onto the type.
The parts of the CF-5D model in 1:48 scale. The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted, and the extent of the contents of the package and the recommended paints are given in the enclosed instructions. At this scale the finished aircraft is big enough for the cockpit and the undercarriage bays to stand out, while it still fits into an ordinary display case.
Follow the instructions and try every part dry before gluing. Level the mating surfaces and sand and polish the seams after gluing, or every unevenness will show on them during painting. Finish and paint the cockpit and the undercarriage bays before you glue the fuselage together, as afterwards you will not reach them. Glue the clear parts with a cement intended for transparent parts, so that they do not fog. Apply the paint in thin coats.
Paints, glue and tools are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
