The Messerschmitt Bf 109G-2 is among the first production machines of the G series, which came to the fore on the German fighter from 1942. Compared with the older versions it received a new liquid-cooled inverted V12 Daimler-Benz DB 605, more powerful and heavier, which showed in the shape of the cowling and in the bulges of the gun covers. The Bf 109G is one of the most frequently covered types on the modeling market, and in 1:32 scale it builds into a large model that takes detail well.
This is an accessory set of the LööKplus range for 1:32 scale. Accessory sets are fitted to a model in place of the parts from the kit, and their purpose is to refine the detail in places where an injection mold runs into its limits. The extent differs between the individual items of the range, so follow the instructions enclosed in the package before you build.
Try the parts dry first and only then seat them permanently. Choose the glue according to the material of the parts, as liquid polystyrene cement may not hold. Wash and degrease the surface before painting, otherwise the paint will crack and flake on a greasy surface. Apply the paint in thin coats so that the fine raised detail is not filled in.
The set suits builders who want to take a Bf 109G-2 model beyond the level of the kit and are not afraid of fine work with tweezers. The kit itself, paints and glue are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
