Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the German Junkers Ju 88C-6b night fighter in 1:48 scale, made by ICM (Ukraine). The model captures the version with the solid gun nose and radar, it contains parts for the radar antenna array and waterslide decals for several machines.
The Ju 88 was an exceptionally versatile twin-engined aircraft that served as a bomber, a dive bomber and a heavy fighter. The C-6b night fighter version came about by converting the bomber variant: the glazed nose gave way to a fixed solid nose with barrel armament and the machine received an airborne radar for night interceptions. It was committed on the Western and the Eastern Front in the years 1943 to 1945 and many machines wore striking night camouflage schemes.
Build a twin-engined model step by step and paint the cockpit interior before closing the fuselage. Fit the fine radar antennas only at the end so that they are not damaged. Handle the gluing of the plastic with thin cement. Night schemes come into their own on a smoothly sprayed surface; fine mottling and transitions are best handled with an airbrush, and the engraving can be picked out with a dark wash.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
