AS-22 Dark Earth 100ml

Tamiya AS-22 Dark Earth (100 ml)

Tamiya AS-22 Dark Earth is an aircraft lacquer spray from Tamiya, part of the Aircraft Spray range, holding 100 ml. It is a synthetic lacquer in a dark brown earth shade (Dark Earth) that is sprayed straight from the pressurized can and dries to a matte surface. The shade corresponds to the upper camouflage brown of the British RAF in the Second World War, where it was combined with dark green in the land camouflage scheme. It is a modeling lacquer, not a kit.

Use

• shake the can thoroughly before use so that the paint is mixed
• spray from a distance of roughly 25 to 30 cm in thin, even coats
• apply several thin coats rather than one heavy one and let the paint dry between coats
• suitable on plastic parts or over a primer; test it on a piece of scrap plastic first
• ideal for the upper camouflage of British RAF aircraft models of the Second World War

Who it is for

For aircraft modelers who want to lay a camouflage shade down quickly and evenly straight from the can, without an airbrush. Suitable for beginners and advanced builders alike.

Flammable aerosol under pressure. Use in a well-ventilated space, away from open flame and sources of ignition. Do not expose the can to high temperatures and keep out of the reach of children.
