Asphalt, a texture paste (100 ml)

This is an acrylic modeling paste for creating a realistic asphalt surface of roads, streets and paved areas on dioramas and bases. It has a fine structure and a gray-black tone. It is not a paint or a kit, but a ready texture compound prepared for immediate use. The package contains 100 ml.

Use

  • Lay it on with a squeegee or a spatula in a thin, even layer.
  • The surface can be brought out with pigments, oil stains and road markings.
  • It is thinned, and the tools are cleaned, with ordinary water.
  • Once it has dried the surface can be sanded smooth or left slightly grainy.

Who it is for

For diorama builders and modelers who make road and urban scenes for military equipment and civilian vehicles alike. It suits the large scales down to the small ones.

Let it dry for at least 24 hours. The product is odorless and non-toxic; keep it out of the reach of children and do not swallow it.

FAQ

No, it is a texture acrylic paste with a gray-black tone of its own. The surface can be brought out further with pigments and effects.

Once the asphalt has dried, paint the lines on with paint or use suitable decals.

The paste and the tools can be thinned and cleaned with ordinary water until it dries.

It is usable across a wide range, roughly from 1:16 to 1:72.
