Mr.Paint Black / Basic Black – an MRP lacquer airbrush paint

The basic deep black from the Mr.Paint (MRP) lacquer range. It is a paint on a lacquer base that comes thinned from the factory to the optimal viscosity, so it is sprayed straight from the bottle without any further thinning. It creates a very thin, smooth and even film with excellent coverage and quick drying. The basic black has a semi-matte to satin character and suits use as an opaque color as well as a base under other shades.

Use

• Applied exclusively with an airbrush – the paint is pre-thinned and as a rule needs no further thinning.
• Ideal for running gear, engine bays, tires, frames and as a deep basic black.
• Thanks to the lacquer base it holds well on plastic and on metal and will take subsequent washes and pigments.
• For cleaning and any further thinning use the lacquer (cellulose) thinner of the same range.
• Spray in thin coats with a short pause – the coats dry quickly.

Suitable for modelers who work with an airbrush and want a quality lacquer paint with a thin film and quick drying. A basic black belongs in the kit for aircraft, armor and cars alike.
