The 0.3 mm brass section from AK interactive is a modeling material - 5 pieces 20 cm long. A thin diameter suited to wiring, hydraulic lines and small details. It is not a kit.

A modeling material of brass, not a kit. The package contains 5 pieces 20 cm long with an outside diameter of 0.3 mm. This diameter is something of a workhorse of fine detailing: it is still very thin, but compared with the finest sizes it is markedly easier to handle and takes ordinary treatment. The essential difference from plastic lies in the stiffness of the material - a brass section holds the shape you give it, does not sag, does not twist and does not break at the first touch of the tweezers. Brass can moreover be soldered, so branched structures can be assembled from it as well.
The essential rule runs: do not cut by squeezing. Nippers crush the section and the end deforms. Use a sharp knife and turn the section as you cut, or reach for a fine saw. Then clean the resulting end up with a fine drill bit or a needle - a clean cut is a detail everyone notices on a model, and skimping on it is the most common mistake. Painting has a single catch: paint does not hold on smooth untreated brass. So first degrease the section and prime it. Anyone who wants to can leave the brass showing instead - it looks like metal, because metal is what it is. Fixing it in place: drill a hole and glue it in with cyanoacrylate.
For modelers who build with open panels, an exposed engine or cockpit and need lines that will last and not sag. Five twenty-centimeter pieces will see a long row of projects through.
A modeling material, not a kit. The ends of the sections are sharp - keep out of the reach of children. Protect your eyes when cutting and ensure ventilation when soldering.

The manufacturer states the outside diameter and the length, not the inside diameter or the wall thickness. The name of the range refers to tubes, but the manufacturer's description speaks of rods at the same time. If you are building a detail that requires a through hole, check it first on one piece from the package.
Above all in stiffness. A brass section holds its shape, does not sag and does not deform, whereas thin plastic bends and breaks in handling. Brass can moreover be soldered, so you can build more complicated branched assemblies from it - which you cannot manage with plastic.
Ordinary cement for plastic has no effect on metal. The most dependable way is to drill a hole of the matching diameter and glue the section into it with cyanoacrylate. The manufacturer also mentions a two-part adhesive or soldering as a possibility.
Yes. Paint does not hold on smooth brass by itself. Degrease the section and then prime it - only then lay the paint down. The other possibility is to leave the brass showing with no paint.
