A 2 mm glass fiber abrasive pencil from Model Craft. It serves for fine cleaning up, rust removal and surface preparation on metal, plastic and wood. You set the length of the fiber by sliding it out as on a mechanical pencil.

An accurate abrasive tool from Model Craft whose working part is formed by a bundle of glass fibers 2 mm in diameter. The body works like a mechanical pencil: sliding it extends more or less of the fiber, and a shorter fiber sands more aggressively, a longer one more gently. Thanks to the slim tip you can easily reach small details too.
It will be appreciated by modelers working with photo-etch, metal and resin parts as well as plastic, who need to clean small areas up accurately and gently without using abrasive paper.
Glass fibers can break off into fine splinters, so work over a waste container, do not touch your eyes and wash your hands afterwards. Gloves are recommended.
