HEKI Beech 18 cm, 6 pcs is a set of six mature beeches for a model forest.
Responsibility details are not available.
Six finished model trees from the German maker HEKI, eighteen centimeters tall. The beech is the typical tree of Central European forests, and in a beech wood it grows in a dense closed canopy where the trees have high-set crowns and long bare trunks, because they take the light from each other lower down. Six pieces of the same height in the box is therefore a practical make-up for a forest, unlike individual specimen trees.
The trees are pushed into a pre-drilled hole or glued by the foot of the trunk. In a forest set them close together and do not worry about the crowns touching, as that is exactly how a beech wood looks. Under the trees, by contrast, leave the ground almost bare, with nothing but leaf granulate, because grass does not grow in dense woodland. Spread the flattened crowns carefully with your fingers after unpacking and tilt the tree slightly so that the row does not read as a fence.
For builders of layouts and dioramas with forest scenes and for modelers who need several trees of the same height at once. Beeches also suit extending a forest gradually, because the same set can be added to later and the growth will stay consistent. It is enough to keep the spacing irregular. This is modeling material, not a toy. The manufacturer marks its scenery products as unsuitable for children under fifteen.
