HEKI Hornbeam 9 cm, 2 pcs are two model trees with a dense ovoid crown.
Responsibility details are not available.
Two finished model trees from the German maker HEKI, nine centimeters tall. The hornbeam is a species of dense broadleaf woodland and at the same time the most common tree for clipped avenues and tall hedges, because it tolerates cutting and grows back thickly. On a model it suits places where the crown should be full and opaque, that is, by housing, in a park and at the forest edge, where it forms the lower story under taller trees.
The small trees are pushed into a pre-drilled hole or glued by the foot of the trunk. In a forest set them under taller trees, where they form the second story of the growth, and let them stand close together. In an avenue, by contrast, line them up regularly, because a clipped hornbeam is meant to look tended. Spread the flattened crown carefully with your fingers after unpacking and leave it dense, as a hornbeam does not let light through.
For builders of layouts and dioramas with broadleaf forest and park greenery and for modelers who need an opaque crown. The pair can also be split and each tree used elsewhere, so that the same species repeats within the scene and the growth looks continuous. This is modeling material, not a toy. The manufacturer marks its scenery products as unsuitable for children under fifteen.
