What the material is for

The interior of a building tends to be the most demanding part of a diorama. A wall painted with a brush rarely looks convincing, because the fine artwork of a pattern is missing. Wallpaper sheets in 1:35 scale solve this problem outright with finished printing, which only needs trimming and sticking onto the setting.

What the set contains

Part of the package are flat sheets with a repeating wallpaper pattern. The size of the motif is reduced so as to match 1:35 scale and to sit next to figures and furniture of the same scale. This item is the second number of the range and offers different patterns from the first number, so the two can be combined in one scene for different rooms.

Building tips

• Offer the sheet up dry first and try where the cuts around windows and doors will run.
• Cut with a sharp modeling knife along a metal ruler; scissors can wave the edge.
• Spread the glue in a thin layer over the setting and press the sheet down from the center toward the edges.
• Complement the stuck-down surface with strips, a picture or a crack in the plaster, so that it does not look too even.
• Hide the transition between two sheets behind furniture or in the corner of a room.
