Responsibility details are not available.
A kit of the modern T-90MS main battle tank in the small 1:100 scale from the Russian manufacturer Zvezda. Thanks to the small scale the model is sparing of space in a display case and it also suits play as a piece in tabletop tactical games, which are commonly played in this scale. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
The T-90MS is a modernized export version of the T-90 tank, presented at the start of the second decade of this century. It differs from the older machines of the series above all in the new turret with a roomy bustle for stowing equipment, complemented by explosive reactive armor and a remotely operated weapon station on the roof. The main armament is a 125 mm gun with an autoloader, thanks to which a crew of three is enough. The vehicle is powered by a diesel engine and belongs to the category of main battle tanks weighing around fifty tons.
In 1:100 scale, clean work matters most: every sprue nub and every excess of glue is impossible to miss on a small model. Cut the parts off with sprue cutters and level the surfaces with a fine file. Meter the glue out with a needle applicator, as spreading it over an area will smear the model. Finish and paint the lower hull and the running gear before you close the hull and fit the turret. Paint with an airbrush at lower pressure and with thinned paint, as a heavy coat would flood the fine engraving. To bring the surface out, use a dark wash in the recesses and a light dry brush on the edges, and apply dust and mud only sparingly so that the small model does not look muddy all over.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
