This injection-molded plastic kit in 1:12 scale captures the exceptional road superbike Ducati Superleggera V4. This variant additionally contains the parts of the racing equipment (Racing Kit) - among them a titanium sports exhaust and carbon covers - so that the motorcycle can be built in circuit specification. The well shaped parts and generous decals are typical of Tamiya.
The Superleggera V4 is a limited, extremely lightened version of the Panigale V4 from the Italian marque Ducati; only 500 examples were built. The carbon fairing, frame and swingarm cut the weight fundamentally and the four-cylinder V4 engine offers top-class output. It is a road-homologated machine with a number of features taken over from circuit specials.
Assemble the frame and the engine first, as they form the visible skeleton of the model. The chrome and carbon surfaces come out well under a gloss coat, and the fine lines can be imitated with thin wire. Spray the fairing with an airbrush and fix the sponsor decals with a gloss coat for a smooth transition.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
