Fiat Mefistofele 21706 cc. 1923 (1:12) is an extensive plastic kit of the legendary record-breaking car from Italeri.

A large plastic kit in 1:12 scale capturing the famous Mefistofele record-breaking special. The set contains more than 500 parts, an opening hood with a detailed engine and working steering; the length of the finished model is around 45 cm. Some of the parts are joined with screws.
The Mefistofele came about by rebuilding an older Fiat chassis into a basis for an enormous aero inline six-cylinder engine of over 21 liters. It earned the nickname the devilish one for the infernal noise of its engine. With the builder and driver Ernest Eldridge at the wheel, it broke the world land speed record in 1924.
Glue the parts with liquid cement for plastic, sand the seams down and treat the surface with a primer. An airbrush will bring out the body and the engine, and the chrome and metal parts will show to advantage with metallic paints and polishing. Follow the instructions, especially on the screwed joints.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
