LACI 1:200 GE90-94 for the Boeing 777-200 is a resin set of engine nacelles that replaces the plastic engines of a kit of the Boeing 777-200 airliner in 1:200 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
This set is not a kit of an airplane but a resin accessory to a model of the Boeing 777-200 airliner in 1:200 scale. It replaces the engine nacelles out of the box with castings that correspond to the version of the General Electric GE90 powerplant fitted to the shorter 777.
On the Boeing 777 the engine nacelle is visually the most conspicuous part of the aircraft. In 1:200 scale the difference between the engine versions shows mainly in the diameter of the intake, the shape of the transition into the pylon and the depth of the intake duct. A resin casting manages a thinner intake wall and a sharper edge than the plastic from the kit, so the model looks more faithful even at an ordinary glance from the display case.
First wash the parts in warm water with detergent and let them dry thoroughly - residual mold release agent is the most frequent cause of paint peeling off. Cut the casting block off with a saw, level the mating surface on sandpaper on a flat support, sand wet and protect your breathing. It is glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). The skin of the nacelle is usually a gloss surface, so primer, fine sanding and spraying with an airbrush in thin coats pay off.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
