The set from the Reskit brand contains a pair of 3D printed AN/ALQ-87 external pods in the early version. They are fitted to a pylon of a finished aircraft model; the types given with the set are the F-100, F-101, F-105, F-111 and F-4. The manufacturer lists the early and the late version as two separate items, so by the designation you pick the shape that matches the machine and the period you are building.
The AN/ALQ-87 is an American electronic warfare pod from the era of the war in Southeast Asia. It was hung on a wing or fuselage pylon of combat aircraft and formed part of their protection. On a model it is a striking cylindrical store with characteristic antenna covers, which places a machine in a particular period straight away.
Wash the resin parts in lukewarm water with detergent and let them dry through thoroughly. Cut the print supports off with a fine saw, level the surface with a file and do the sanding wet, with respiratory protection. They are bonded with super glue; a gel variant gives time to line the pod up with the line of flight. Apply primer under the paint; on pods it is useful to set the body and the antenna covers apart with a slight difference of shade, so that the store does not merge into one surface on the model.
