A set of color 3D elements from Kelik for the pilot space of the Panavia Tornado combat aircraft in the GR.1 version, that is the British strike form with a variable-sweep wing. The elements are cut for the Revell kit in 1:32 scale and cover the instrument panels, the side panels and the other small equipment of the cockpit.

What it brings to the model

The Tornado GR.1 is a two-seater, so two stations open up under the canopy at once: the pilot in front, the navigator at the back. In the large 1:32 scale both can be seen into in real detail and bare plastic panels show there at first sight. The color elements carry legible instruments, lettering and distinguished panels, and the raised relief moreover casts a shadow in side light, so the panel does not look like a painted flat area.

Before applying them and while working

• The way they are applied differs from one range to another, so follow the instructions from the maker Kelik.
• Spray the cockpit parts first, let them cure and degrease them, otherwise the edge of an element will lift away in time.
• Apply the elements while the cockpit is freely accessible, that is before the fuselage halves are joined.
• Work with tweezers with a soft grip and press them down with a cotton bud from the center toward the edges.
• The assignment of the individual elements to the parts of the kit is given in the maker's instructions.
