This resin detail set from the Czech manufacturer CMK adds a finely cast engine and its engine compartment to a model of the StuG III Ausf.G assault gun. It is not a standalone model - the set is intended for use with a StuG III Ausf.G kit in 1:35 scale and makes it possible to open the engine compartment up and display it.
The StuG III Ausf.G was powered by a Maybach twelve-cylinder gasoline engine of around 300 horsepower, housed in the rear part of the hull. The StuG III assault gun was a German armored vehicle deployed throughout the Second World War for fire support as well as for fighting tanks; the Ausf.G version was the most numerous.
Wash the resin parts free of mold release agent, cut them from the casting blocks and clean them up. Bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate). It makes sense to paint and weather the engine (oils, dust) before gluing it into the hull. Protect your airways when sanding resin.
The set is an accessory for the model in question, not a standalone kit. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
