An add-on detail set, not a standalone model. It holds turned metal empty cartridge cases of the German short 75 mm KwK 37 and StuK 37 gun in 1:35 scale, supplemented with photo-etched parts. Empty cartridge cases bring the floor of a fighting compartment, baskets for spent ammunition and firing scenes to life.
The short 75 mm L/24 gun of the early Panzer IVs and the StuG III assault guns ejected a brass cartridge case after firing, which piled up in the fighting compartment of the vehicle. This set reproduces precisely those empty cases, a companion to live ammunition and a rewarding detail for dioramas.
Deburr and degrease the metal cases, and bend the photo-etched parts as needed. Glue with cyanoacrylate. Spray the cases in a brass shade and add light weathering or sooting, so that they come across as used.
This is an add-on set, not a standalone model. The kit, paints and glue are not part of the package, unless stated otherwise.
