This set in 1:35 scale from the Chinese maker Voyager Model is not a model in its own right but a photo-etched detail accessory. It replaces the solid plastic covers and grilles over the engine compartment of the British Cromwell Mk. IV and Centaur C.S. Mk IV tanks with fine pierced photo-etched parts. These create the realistic impression of ventilating cooling grilles, which on plastic are usually only suggested.
The Cromwell was a fast British cruiser tank of the second half of the Second World War; the Centaur was a closely related type. The fine grilles on the rear of the hull are a prominent recognition feature.
Bend the photo-etched grilles precisely over an edge, glue them with super glue (cyanoacrylate) and paint them only once they are in place. Suitable for modelers with experience of photo-etched parts.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
