A set of turned brass barrels from the Polish brand MASTER in 1:350 scale. It is not a model but a detail accessory: precisely turned metal naval gun barrels with resin mounts for the model of the British pre-dreadnought battleship HMS Lord Nelson. It replaces the plastic barrels from the box.
Turned brass barrels have a perfectly straight profile, crisp muzzles and faithful dimensions that injection-molded plastic cannot reach. The set covers the main and the secondary calibers of the ship, the 12 in, 9.2 in and smaller 12-pounder barrels, and is intended for the matching plastic kit in 1:350.
Cut off the plastic barrels and replace them with the metal ones, separate the resin mounts from the block and wash them. Degrease the metal before gluing and fix the joints with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue); prime the brass with a base coat for metal.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
