About product

RAL 8020 Gelbbraun, an AK interactive acrylic paint

RAL 8020 Gelbbraun is a matte acrylic paint from the AFV modeling range of AK interactive. It is a water-thinnable paint with high pigmentation and covering power, which you apply by brush as well as by airbrush. The shade Gelbbraun (yellow-brown) corresponds to the period German desert finish RAL 8020, which was used on the hardware deployed in North Africa in the Second World War.

Use

  • A base as well as a top coat for the desert schemes of German hardware from the North African campaign.
  • Thinned with water or an acrylic thinner, applied by brush as well as by airbrush.
  • Shake the bottle thoroughly before use and thin the paint slightly for the airbrush.
  • Suitable under subsequent washes, filters and pigments for weathering and dust effects.

Who it is for

For modelers building military hardware in desert camouflage who want a period-accurate yellow-brown shade in a water-thinnable acrylic.

A water-based acrylic paint with low odor. Even so, work in a ventilated room, protect it from frost and keep it out of the reach of children.
