This is not an aircraft kit but a 3D-printed resin detail accessory. The set holds a large external fuel tank of 610 gallons, of the kind hung under models of the American McDonnell F-15E Eagle in 1:48 scale. Its faithful shape with fine transitions and panel lines rounds out the typical operational configuration.
The F-15E Eagle is a two-seat multirole fighter with long range and a heavy load. Drop tanks are part of its ordinary fit on long-range missions, and on a model they complete a realistic silhouette.
Wash the print resin residue off the part and separate it from the print supports. It is glued with cyanoacrylate; sand with respiratory protection. The smooth surface of the tank calls for a good base coat (a primer); the panel lines come out after a light wash.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package.
