This set is a detail addition to the underwing load, not an aircraft model. It contains two 3D-printed carriage adapters in 1:72 scale that allow the Storm Shadow / SCALP-EG cruise missiles to be hung faithfully on a model of the Su-24 Fencer tactical bomber. The modeling resin parts have fine detail on the attachments and the supporting structure.
The adapter represents the real engineering solution by which the western Storm Shadow / SCALP-EG guided missiles were integrated onto the Soviet-designed Su-24. It lets modelers build a present-day strike configuration with the adapter between the pylon and the missile.
Separate the parts from the print supports, wash and degrease them; they are bonded with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Lay down a primer and then shades matching the load and the underside of the aircraft. Use respiratory protection when sanding.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints, the missiles and the base model are not included in the package.
