This is a resin accessory, not an airplane model. The set contains a faithfully rendered large-capacity drop tank in the late configuration carried by F-4 aircraft in the F and G versions. It is used as a replacement for the original part on a finished plastic F-4 Phantom II model in 1:48 scale.
Reskit casts the shape of the tank with crisper edges, finer transitions and details that injected plastic usually cannot deliver. The result is a more realistic store without the need to fill the seam that a two-part plastic tank has.
First wash the mold release agent off the parts, cut off the casting blocks with a saw and sand the surface while protecting your airways. Glue with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Apply a filler primer before painting; choose the shade according to the particular aircraft and scheme you are building.
The accessory is supplied unpainted and without glue. Paints and other materials are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
